Thats one of my kits V1 FTW

1) MAF Adaptor (Get a Metal one, NOT plastic)
2) I dont see the T fitting on the Oil Feed line
3) No Drain Line

Oh yea btw, if you decide to install the headers, DONT Use those cheap exhaust manifold gaskets. They WILL leak on you. Get Nissan ones

That drain line in the picture isnt the right I.D. You need to use the proper size or your blower will build up too much pressure and will start leaking out the inlet

Put together, he'll have a 18:1 ratio, then he can have 200psi of fuel pressure!!

1. gasket
2. Also, the steel insert for Pancake filter if you decide to go that route.
3. Like Matty said, get a metal 3" MAF adapter from Cattman or ebay.
4. ??? You have what you need
5. yup
6. I recommend boost and fuel pressure. If you have the money, a true A/F wideband guage
7. I think you mean coolant overflow. You can fab a bracket, or just wedge it between stuff. Less weight/clutter For the windshield reservoir, you simply twist the neck so everything fits.
8. hard to tell. Just look at the parts list in the Stickies and compare. It's all there.
9. steel fitting 90 degree -4AN to 1/8npt (might be in SC already, you'll have to check and/or take more pics)
10. oil feed line should be -4AN ss
11. some way to secure ss line (at or around oil pan) See parts list if you want to know specifics
12. proper 5/16" barbed fittings on FMU? (can't tell)
13. Is that a 5/16" barbed fuel hose joiner in the pic? If not, you'll need one.
14. 3/8" ID power steering hose
15. Cam Sensor retainer
16. Permatex Ultra Gray sealant
17. What are you going to do about relocating (shifting) the fuse box near the power steering reservoir? You can easily fab something. See parts list in stickies and pics in the SCIFD on VQpower.com

That's it off the top of my head. Hope that helps some.

Looks to me like you're missing some of the bolts that hold the plate to the timing chain cover. Mainly I don't see the slightly larger alternator bolt. You'll also need a reducing insert in order to get that silicon elbow on to the blower properly.

BTW what headers are those?

Exactly!

As a rule of thumb, the outlet ID needs to be at least 4 to 5 times the size of the inlet ID. So you'll need at least a 1/2'' or 5/8'' ID hose. Get the front valve cover hose NEW from Nissan, and trim it to fit.

Also make sure there is ABSOLUTELY no kinks in it what so ever or else the oil WILL leak out the blower outlet and a rebuild will be needed... very important!

You can get away WITHOUT using the 120 degree fitting. Just loop it a bit more than normal towards the back of the car so the SS doesnt kink up and you dont put pressure on the T fitting.

This was my kit. Wonder why the guy didn't want to keep it. I don't know what you paid for the kit, but that blower and V1 plate is practically brand new. Enjoy it!!!

Blower has less than 1000 miles...V1 kit was brand new. I am not sure he knew what he was doing. He actually called me up upon initial installation and said that blower was not made for that plate....(LOL) So I put him in contact with TJ_Max and he helped him as much as possible. It wasn't a complete kit I sold him..only the V1 starter kit and blower. So I would check all the other parts he gave you.

For starters, your K&N filter looks kinda small. Have you checked the specs to make sure it flows enough??

i originally purchased the pancake but sold it because I30ds told me about the above filter and mentioned that airflow will not be restricted because the filter area is bigger. i trusted him and bought it instead of spending $20 on couplers. i plan to do 3.5" CAI in the future

i believe i30ds has/had it on his car with no problems.

Cool Mike. I'd still contact K&N and make sure it flows enough. You don't want to be robbed of hp do ya? Tell them you'll be running 10 psi and have 3.0 displacement. They crunch a few numbers and determine if it's good enough based on your engine and psi IIRC.

What's the part number of that K&N filter? Would it clear the little black fuse box?

I know it looks small, but I got both the pancake filter and that other filter. I measured the pleated element surface area of both and they are equal. So, just like the pancake filter, it is still not ideal, but gets the job done until a cold air intake can be installed.
