Its not totally out of the question. I had 299 to the wheels with my auto running the 2.87 running only 10 psi. At the time i was running water meth injection and didn't adjust the tune for it therefore making the tune a little to conservative. There was more in it. Then the motor blew due to oil starvation:slant:

i appreciate the knowledgable advice and the sinical jokes maybe the osterich wont help after all. to answer your questions YES this car/project exist im 95 percent done. its T trim stock compressor wheel its a 3.0 and im open to a turbo & 3.5 setup if not pleased with this setup there closely related in needed parts so itll only need a few swapped parts as for now i still need to get my ecu returned (flashed from jwt for a s/c 9:1 555 setup) and waiting for my converter from dayco to return most of the work wasnt done by me. the numbers are obviously high but it was just a screenname, although it did help motivate me for big numbers it should be ready for break in miles late july. ill definately post results under this name to relate back to this post. im hoping to have it running for the july nashville meet ....... still shooting for big numbers !

Well good luck with your project. But honestly if you put that much money and effort into a VQ30, you've wasted most of it. You can make more power from a VQ35 while spending less money because of it's after market support.

T-trim isn't stock, we've been over this.

Also, why do you insist on going with JWT? It's been proven time and again that eManage will kick the crap out of JWT's ECUs, and for the same money even.

do you think that is mostly due to the im not flowing enough air? i will take some time and look into this though, because i would assume that most turbo guys are flowing it not the same or much more volume of air at less psi.

yes i am sure. i tryed to get that program and they told me that they dont have a 740cc injector and z32 maf program for the maxima. with my setup i will only be able to see 520hp to the flywheel thats with 555cc injectors and a z32 maf. thats what jwt told me.

Hmm, maybe mardigras was the only one able to get it. I brought his ecu, so I thought that others would be able to get them as well (Its the 740cc with z32 maf)

when i talked to a tech at jwt he told me that there is no program for 740cc with z32 and he also told me that he might be able to do a 740cc with a ford lightning maf but i didnt like that idea. if that ecu that you have is programed for that i will give them a call tommorow and ask them why they told me that and i will let you know what they said.

The Z guys don't really have that many more piggyback options than we do. It's mainly the UTEC being used with the EU a distant 2nd. The hardcore boost guys go straight to standalone's like the FCON V-PRO.

yeah it was always at fault.. it was always pulling too much timing.. thats why Greddy TT Kit was always known as unsafe.. then people starting using UTEC's .. ask Don (Pearl96max) he is running my old UTEC

i just got the HKS FCon Vpro .. the car should be tuned with it in 2 weeks or so

Why would you spend all that money and get a mail order tune (if I'm reading that right?) Find someone who will put your car up on the rollers and build you a tune.

With the "stupid" A32 and A33 ECUs E-manage Ultimate does everything you would ever need it to. With an ECU that is less tolerant to piggybacks like the Z33 ECU, it is probably not the best choice, especially with plug and play options like UTEC.

Emanage ultimate? those arn't that bad... its the Emanage Blue that blows the motors.. EU is good.. couple people use it.. not as many features as the UTEC or VPro though

it's got features that the UTEC doesn't and he UTEC has features that the EU doesn't.

As far as the EB blowing motors... that of course wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that it is what came with the greddy kit when they first came out and all these retards were trying to crank up the boost without pulling any timing, would it? The EB is not the best engine management out there by a long shot, but it isn't responsible for blowing more motors than bad tuning and bad usage are. that's complete bull. the fact that the Z33 ECU is far more advanced and runs a ton of different timing schemes under various conditions makes the EB not a good idea for that application but it works just fine for other applications that do not have such complicated timing schemes. the EB didn't blow those guys' motors, their lack of knowledge as to what parts to put on their car and lack of appropriate tuning ability is what blew their motors.

the EB was blowing motors on stock boost.. when i ran the EB i was running 4.5 PSI and it still managed to blow all the coolant out of my engine on my hood.. so it has nothing to do with cranking up the boost

MRC gave my car a perfect tune with the EB and it still had an issue.. so i guess you could tell Julian that he is a sh!tty tuner
