Clutchnet Fiber Carbon clutch pics 56k no no
I couldn't find any good pictures of this clutch online, so here are some of mine, it is definetly an interesting clutch, I just hope it holds up to the power I want to make, while being really streetable.
Pressure plate is standard

Fiber Carbon disc

As you can see, its got ceramic type pucks on one side, while using an organic surface on the other. The organic side material is made by Raybestos if anyone cares.
I called Clutchnet and told them I wanted something softer than the six puck, to hold up to 350 ft/lbs of torque, and the guy suggested there kevlar disc over this one. After reading plenty of horror stories about kevlar disc however, especially clutchnet kevlar disc, I decided to take a chance with this one. I specified my needs when I ordered, so I'm hoping for the best, great driveability with some good holding power. I'll update how the clutch does once the S/C goes in. I'm pulling the tranny to do a quaife install and bearing replacement this weekend.

Update- I have about 2-3k miles on this clutch now. I did easy driving for the 1st 500 miles. This clutch does not 'grab' hard. If I try to shift hard, it seems to slip a little bit. I haven't stayed in it to see what the outcome would be. I think I have noticed a little bit of slippage in 2nd and 3rd gears under boost. I'm going to try adjusting the clutch pedal to see if it makes any difference. This clutch feels just like stock, no chatter, light and easy pedal. I really want to love this clutch. I am still running pretty rich under boost 10.5 or so, and I have not yet connected my MEVI. Doing those two things will only up the power. If adjusting the clutch makes no difference (It feels right where it is) then I will unfortunately be shopping for a new clutch.
Hmm All very interesting. I plan on upgrading my clutch within the next few months. I know my clutch wont hold too much boost. Good luck mtrai760. I want a clutch like the clutchnet fibre carbon, as i want it to retain daily driver ability, but still be able to hold the power.

I take side streets to work, 13 miles each way, all stop and go, so it's nice having a stock like clutch. If adjustment doesn't pay out though, then I'll have to go with something harsher...
I have a rps clutch good for around 450ft lbs of tq. It's a disk with extreme psi plate. The pedal is stiff but for what it's worth I never owned a 5-speed and had this installed when my max was converted and did not have a problem learning on it. I currently spray a 100shot of nitrous on DR's and launch at 4k all day and never any slippage problems. although sometimes I feel it's too much clutch for normal n/a driving but your boosted
KRRZ350 and a few other org members drove the car and love the clutch I would suggest taking a look at it

No need to sacrifice driveability for holding power...twin or triple disc carbon
A pretty penny, but they're rather nice to drive and hold a fair amount of power.
There's also the Southbend DXD Feramic clutches, heard good things about those.

clutchnet red is a strong hard bitting clutch. not too street able but hold like a ****.
Spect Stage 2 clutch hold beautifully and extremely streetable, it just must not hold as much tq as you desire.
just some tid bits of info.

ACT is hard to beat. I have the Xtreme pressure plate and street disc. Easy to drive, very streetable, but it does have a fairly stiff pedal. I am right at the limits of this combo on power at the dragstrip on slicks when I run a bunch of passes, but it works great everywhere else.
I'm running the XTD 6 puck kevlar off Flea-bay and it holds like a champ with repeated dumps. Never bolted up drag radials, but it will smoke a set of 245 Dunlops. Has a bit of chatter but once you learn it, its not bad on the streets unless you're stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for 3 hours.
I had Fidanza make me a 4 puck kevlar clutch. I'd been told it was a pretty streetable clutch (no chatter) smooth, but quick engagement, and you could abuse the crap out of it.
Well, it does take some abuse...but it also chattered ALOT before I got used to it. Now that it's warmed up around here and the clutch has some miles on it, the chattering is minimal, and it's just quick engagement (which I love) and NO slipeage.
It kinda seems like an on/off switch at times...but if my g/f can learn to drive a stick with this clutch, I'd say it's driver friendly enough.

Spec stage 3 for me was garbage. I went through 2 of them in 6 months because they wouldnt hold the power. To i want with clutchmasters and wow what a difference. Not too hard to drive great catch and very strong.

Thanks for the feedback people. This is probably the most clutch feedback a thread has ever gotten!
I won't be able to adjust the clutch until this weekend. I have gotten on it a couple times and it hasn't slipped, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have had ACT clutches in an old maxima and my 240sx. Loved it in the 240, it was just OK in the maxima. Used a stage one Exedy in my last Maxima and hated it. Drove a S/C max with a clutchnet 6 puck and it was WAY to stiff for daily driving, at least IMO.
Options right now if it keeps slipping:
Cheapest option would be to try the Clutchnet Kevlar disk, and keep my current pressure plate.
Other options I'm considering
Exedy stage 2
Clutchmasters
South Bend Clutches
RPS
No offense to you guys that love your SPEC's, but I won't run a spec clutch. I've seen too many problems with them. I'm not bashing them, I'm glad you like them and that they are working out for you.
We'll see how it goes this weekend. I'm going to try to get my A/F to 11.5, so that will raise my power some and should provoke slippage if it's going to happen.
Thanks again for the feedback!!!

my act HD pp and clutchnet 6 puck disk is a winner - soft pedal but holds when it needs to i.e. letting it go at 6000rpm on slicks.
my buddy likes his south bend in his 400whp/375wtq 3rd gen and has launched it on slicks without problem he says.
my opinion on those other ones are
clutchmasters - blah (just based on anecdotal reports, i have no person experience)
spec - absolute trash based on experience of people who have had them explode and actually destroy vehicles. i have seen and worked on multiple cars/transmissions that have had spec clutch explosions.

Matt, as I was telling you yesterday, I ended up doing the yellow clutchnet PP, and the 6-puck disc. Right now I get a bit of chatter, I'm going to try to bleed the clutch and see what happens. I'm already at about 250 miles on the clutch now. So far I haven't had any slipping problems, but I've also haven't really put more than 5psi on it until I get the break in done around 500 mile as Nealoc suggested.
