It's been a long time since I've seen a post that was more vague than this. Bigger does not equal better in all cases. Set some goals for yourself and then get back to us after you've done at least a little bit of research.

im looking for a maximum horsepower gain and a solid reliability range. the car is built to hold the power im just after some good turbo options hopefully 200+ horse just from turbo or more what are my options thanks for any positive useful feedback. (im thinking 2000.00 for the s trim vortech+ matty kit unused)

t88? Gt60? Those are nice large ones...way overkill however. I by no means am an expert but..but you my friend definitely need to do some more learning before you just jump into this.

jesus f*ckin christ why is every post badgered by "guru" asses that have no positive input only ridicule for the people asking an honest tuning question YES i know of forced induction and YES im obviously talking 200+ from turbo add on and YES my max is built to handle it. so THANKS again for the two positive comments and to the asses keep dreamin hope your ridicule will help you **** out the money some of us actually spend on or cars.

relax, add a gt35r or maybe the hx35 that what's his name is using. You came on and asked what is a damn vague question.."whats the largest and most reliable turbo i should go with" "You say the engine is "built" well none of us are mind readers. What did you do to it? What type of powerrband do you want? Is this going to be a drag strip queen or a daily driver? Most of us assumed you mean 200hp from the turbo..but guess what..there's not a whole lot of maximas period that have that but there are a lot of folks that throw big numbers around without knowing what that really entails. Not to mention that there are actual guru's posting in this thread, as well as people who do spend money on their cars.... You've been on the board for 9 months..that's how long it takes for women to give birth...it's more than long enough to for you to get details on what engine and turbos the 10 most powerful maximas on the board are running, which would give you a great starting point to work with. Anyways that's just my $.02, but i need to cut it short so i can go **** out some money.

Remember guys, this is the same person who was first claiming, and then asking if his SC would make the 520whp.

Im not even sure if he ever even installed the scer but Im assuming he has now realized
it wasnt going to make the 520whp and is now looking to go turboed.

Best advise we can all give is to learn to read compressor maps. Google compressor maps and you'll find tons of info on the topic. I honestly dont think you'll get close to 500hp on this engine, not that it cant support it, but its not a big enough engine to start with, and even with a large turbo you'll be getting terrible lag. Boost wont kick in until unreasonably high engine speeds. I'd say the gt35r is as large as i'd go, lots of power and still a nice power band for daily driving.
