Need parts to rebuild VQDEK (2k1)...

Hey guys, I'm a little bit tired of searching the net, I'm currently rebuilding my VQ30DEK with a lower compression and to also support the abuse of the V2 T trim it will get once everything is put together and the car is ready to hit the road. I have brand new Arias piston, and I'm now in need for the following parts:

1- Head bolts (stronger than oem)
2- Rod bolts & rods (stronger than oem)
3- Complete engine Gasket kit ( the best product available )
4- Valve, spring retainer etc ( both heads are beign ports & polish )

I know many of you will tell me to swap for a VQ35DE, but my project is well on it's way so
swapping is not an option and to be frank I think this engine is going to be much stronger than the VQ35 if I can find the parts I'm missing.

Thanks for your help and feel free to ask me any questions you want.

Cheers

AA

I have a hard time thinking I'm the only one building a VQ30 DEK... I though that I would get a truck load of infos about parts and places to buy but I guess I was plain wrong then...

I believe the compression ratio is 9:1 if not mistaking, I'm building the engine for FI.

I would have never guessed.

If you add VQ35 heads, you will impact the CR. With your pistons, not sure exactly what the actual # will be though.

Would you mind sharing that info? I have a DE-K myself and plan to do some more internals during the winter since the car will be garaged.

I would've stayed at stock compression.

I think the 9:5:1 C/R should give me good number with Matty's V1 kit along with a T trim blower & I/C. I'll post some pics soon...

No, I desided to do the DEK swap with head work, webcam turbo regrinds, cometic head gastket and arp studs, etc. The cost was to extreme for just 350WHP...

It's more than a dot. It's a ratio and should be addressed as so.

I agree since you can get 350whp with ease without even touching anything in the motor...
