manifolds

i am researching turbo for a 3g w/ the original vg30e engine. anyway, who makes turbo manifolds/downpipe/xovr for this engine? cant find a kit or anything, and no links to sites or people that make it. just looking for ideas and links to who makes manifolds/downpipe/xovr and if there is a turbo or supercharge kit for the vg30e. yes, i did read the turbo-related stickies. either i missed something or it doesnt mention manifolds.

well if you want to do it simple then youll take all the origonal nissan stuff from the donor (300zxt) and swap it over manifolds, wiring harness and ecu make a custom downpipe and be on your way otherwise i think its all custom

no one makes them. you need to either do what was already suggested or make them yourself/have someone make them for you.

1. Please donate so you can Search.
2. Re-read the stickies, then read them again.
3. Email some 3rd gen turbo guys and get some input about what they've done. I'd be more than happy to write you a couple of pages. However, I am probably low on the Totem Pole as compared to many other boosted guys like Bernard.
4. Be patient.
5. Save up a LOT of money.
6. Be patient.

The FIRST things you need to look at in planning for this modification is how quick do you want it done, how much money you going to put into it, and what are your desired goals for power/reliability/boost? The answers will ultimately dictate your project. There are some who have thrown their setups together for about $1,500. All in all, getting mine set up I've probably got about $5k+ in mine; $3k in engine alone. Everything else ($2K) related to ECU, turbo, clutch, monitoring/guages/boost controller, and customization. I've got about $300 in my exhuast alone, and that cost ends at the flex pipe. BTW, I can't weld either, but even my small amount of "cottage cheese" welding has saved me some money! LOL Oh, BTW my project has been about 5 years in the making. I'm not made of money and so had to drag things out.

84-88 300zx with the turbo youll have tp prolly adapt the custom downpipe to your exaust youll need both the front and rear manifolds and the xovr that connects them then do the 2.5 or 3" from the wastegate out

as for stock boose i would say at least 5-6 mine goes off all the time
