Cefiro Injectors

I found some 380cc Cefiro A31 injectors. Will they fit the Max and be good for 6-8 lbs boost w/ a turbo?

I also just found an HKS Additional Injector Controller. The guy selling it said you would use it to control the a/f ratio instead of a FMU. Any one know about them?

the injectors are probably 370cc purple side feeds just like what many people use.

an additional injector controller would control, surprise, additional injectors. it doesn't have the same function as an FMU. an FMU raises your fuel pressure to supply more fuel. if you were to add extra fuel injectors or larger fuel injectors you should do so in the proper size to avoid using an FMU. FMUs are trash - they are an archaic way of "tuning" if you can call it that, which you barely can these days. with all the engine management options available these days there is no reason anyone should run an FMU anymore in my opinion. do it right - get larger injectors like those in your previous post and an emanage blue or ultimate (which both have additional injector control built in, should you decide you wish to use it, though you should not have to if you get large enough injectors in the first place) and put the FMU out of your mind.

I actually disagree on the FMU being trash. Of course it is not the best way to controll fueling. But for a very basic, lower power set up they work well. Basic, simple, easy to install.

I agree with I30tMikeD. In my case I was very close to maximizing out my injectors at wot so I put in a Nismo fpr and this gave me the additional fuel I needed and it was much cheaper than buying new injectors.

Another good trick is hot wiring the fuel pump directly to the battery so the voltage doesn't drop to the pump creating a fuel deficit.

If you are going all out for power and you're not even close to enough fuel then I agree with Nealoc187 and get bigger injectors. My fix is only good for minor fuel adjustments.

They work for the basic ~6psi, 50whp gain type kits, but for any serious boosting project they are worthless.
