So I heard that these VQs hold boost well but how do other parts?

Like the transmission hold up? I always wanted to charge my car but she is getting high on miles 162xxxx and i thinking that is a bit hight but i would really love more low end power... I mean going from a stop and buring out 2nd sounds pretty fun to me... lol

NEway.. how do other things hold up? I am not in for 10G work or really going over 10psi cause I dont want to do any internal work... I just want to know if the transmissions can take a nice beatin from all the power u guys give it. I know u guys upgrade ur clutches though.

4th gen's have glass transmissions. One saying ALWAYS holds true: You gotta pay to play! If your not willing or unable financially to replace a transmission or an engine at any given moment, stick to NA mods.

this is the truth, and there are always little minor bugs that will ruin your day if youre boosted on an everyday car.

tires dont hold up well.........you will find out that you need an LSD gearbox to take full advantage, always some little thing to tune, fuel PSI and blah blah blah.....but when you press on the gas and you get pushed back in your seat its all worth it!

They don't hold up well - common knowledge. I'm noticing an influx of noobish threads in this forum and I'm going to start locking them. Start searching before posting basic threads such as this.
