Nice #s. DDs read low and he didn't run it out to redline so you might well be at the 400whp level on a dynojet right now.

THank you ptatohed, I just posted in that thread and Stephen added me onto the list. Gotta credit this site for helpful information, lots of reading and searching pays off.

the fuel pressure was hitting 94psi with the 8:1 fmu disc, I switched to a 6:1 and its now maxing ~85psi, I want to go to a 5:1 disc since the car is still running rich and that should put the fuel pressure at about 78psi - 80psi under full boost.

second, sorry if I missed it - what is your street PSI max and what was your PSI max on the dyno?

you mean boost? On the street I usually see about 12-13 psi of boost, on a cool day with nice dense air I did see my needle get close to the 15 mark once........and the dyno run was just a 3 pull deal so they didn't log my boost. I think the CAI for the SC makes a noticible amount of difference, I want to look into a dual bulb Co2 air chiller bulb setup to get the air cooler and denser going into the blower then after the MAF.

Like put one bulb on the cold air pipe inlet side of the blower and one after the MAF however I wonder if that bulb will restrict airflow.....don't know if you can shead some light on the topic, maybe I'll start a new thread sometime after I do some more research on the effectiveness of that "chiller" setup.

Yeah, sorry, I meant boost. I was asking because both he Wizy and I see less boost on the dyno and we can't explain it. I was wondering if others had the same problem. I hit 11ish on the streets but only see 9-10 on the dyno.

We too were considering the CO2 cryogenics bulb by DEI. To answer your question, yes, I think you'll loose a little PSI with it but I think the benefits would exceed any negatives. I think the speed shop we spoke to said there was a 0.5 PSI loss at most.

There is a company called S-max that makes something similiar called an 'Ice Tube'. I looked into it a bit, but I don't think the gains would be worth the cost. The problem is that it only cools the outside of the can, where in an actual aftercooler you have the air running through fins to help draw out the heat. I just didn't think it would be as efficient.

I will just get it and have to test it, there's not much feedback on the internet about it. I can benefit from it since my meth tank sits in the engine bay it probably gets hot. I will use their "fuel line chiller setup" to cool the meth before it gets sprayed.....should help out then I can also add the bulb to the intake, maybe do a dual setup if I can afford it and it will let me have that "purge" that I always wanted since high school...lol

If you guys get to it before I do I can't wait to see what your thoughts are after the install.

This sounds promising. Perhaps as something in addition to an after-cool/intercooler/CO2 intake bulb. Do you have links mtrai?

They say it's for NA applications but that boosted cars could use it. I prefer the DEI bulb because it actually cools the internal air stream and you wouldn't need to redo your intake tubing - the bulb would easily integrate into any exisitng tube. The Ice Tube would require you to remove 10" of existing piping. But it's always good to know all your options.

Yeah, I looked into a bunch of different options, including what you and James are running to keep things nice and cool. I like that it does not cause any pressure drop, but then again, it's not nearly as efficient. I think it would probably work well for drag racing applications, where you could spray and get it freezing cold before your run, not so much for the street though.
