T3 Water cooler Kit

Hello all,

I am having some issues with my coolant lines drying out, cracking, then leaking given the proximity of the coolant lines off the turbo to the exhuast. I have searched extensively for a water cooler line kit but seem to constantly hit dead ends.

Sometimes there are no images, or I find line kits for T25, etc, etc. Part of my problem is that I don't know the size or thread of the ports off the turbo now. I originally bought a z31 turbo engine which had the T3 turbo, of course I replaced it with a new core which was water cooled, so I don't even know how Nissan originally had the coolant lines connected.

I'm looking for something that is going to connect properly, of course. I'm also looking for somthing that will have steel or aluminum lines which come off the turbo and has a 90 degree bend which runs at least 6-8 inches in length to get away from the exhuast. If I can simply get some direction where I can find some lines/connectors like I describe, I can figure out the thread and diametor size. As always, all help is greatly appreciated.

Have you thought of braided or stainless lines? If you can get the connector and run braided line i think you would be fine.

I would love braided lines, not avoiding it at all. Just can't find the fittings which seem to be required to make it all work, rubber or braided hoses.

My brother happens to be a instrumantion welder. They run 1/4" 1/2" stainless lines through out a powerplant. He has loads of stainless fittings. Work great for coolant lines just have to get some piping. Also can go to local hardware store and get cooper lines and make something work.
