Slowly i've been collecting parts for around the area and ebay. The fabricator english cut me a sweet deal and did all the welding, redoing the entire fuel system, entire exhaust, welding intercooler piping etc. normally that jobs would be $4000 in just labor because there were alot of things that had be be moved and redone. He only charged me $1400 for labor and I bought the parts. I also got my exhaust piping from RAW Performance AKA richie in ft lauderdale, and fittings from Speed Injected in Miami.

Looking good man, hope to see some vids soon. Question though, are you installing vents in the hood or just leaving those holes open? Is there bracing to hold up the turbo or is it just going to be held up by the pipes?

I put mesh grill and door lining i'll put a final pic of the vents 2morrow, and no brace for turbo its safely secured by the feed and down pipe.

any pics of the piping from the rear header into the feed pipe? And the front mount was modified?
Also your bov is in the wrong location. It needs to be before the maf

the rear header is just the OBX back header and and if you look at the front header it connects goining to the turbo, yes i did have to cut about an inch and a half of the bumper support for the intercooler, I have'nt had any problems with the location of the bov. with the FIC it works just fine.

that is a very compact looking setup. so the wastegate is dumping right into the exhaust, are all you turbo guys doing that? or are some people dumping to the atmosphere

some dump in the atmosphere but the cops tend to ask a lot of question about sound and smoke so I didnt want the hassle so we recirculated it back into the exhaust, some cops act like a$$hole( even though im tryin to be one) when they dont know what is under the car.

Shouldnt have to worry about smoke if nothing is wrong with the car/turbo (as far as WG dump), I got mine dumping to atmosphere, all you can hear when in boost is just a loud wooshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, along with the high pitch turbo sound, a very scary sound if im flying past your window or your behind me. Under normal driving, even if i go into boost a lil bit, you dont hear the WG's dump, car still quiet. I gotta finish my build already, seems like others are making progress leaving me behind lol.

your refering to Raw Performance Correct?

If so Ron does some amazing jobs, I know a few people running his block on their Sti's and seen nothing but remarkable numbers, I have a friend who will be running his block and pushing well over 5-600 HP, its gonna be nuts. I am curious to see if he builds VQ35 Blocks.
