Put another SCed max out there also full 4th gen piping on a 5th gen

Pipes were not modified except for cutting off the maf flange and using a maf adaptor and coupler and capping the nipple on the elbow. Car is running on 6psi with no probs.

Hey man that looks good. I used 4th gen piping as well, but blew my maf after hitting around 11psi.

I think you'll be good for 6psi, as I was easily hitting that much boost, but be wary when going to smaller pulleys.

whats wrong with 5th gen MAF, cant handle boost?., i run 9psi daily, but on 4th gen MAF, car runs good. only thign i dont like is how hot the charge pipe get, people say its normal

Compressed air will be hot, plus look where your charge pipe sits. So yeah it is normal.

never could really figure out why they did it that way, but I also never worked on one, so there might be a reasoning for it being that way

yes my error about that its a 9psi pulley

Plate doesnt effect boost, the blowers do. The V1 usually makes 1-1.5psi less then the V2 blower.

Because of the impeller design cfm is little higher per psi on the v2

Glad your enjoying the kit, hey did you switch out the vortech bov for the blitz? The vortech is ok but the blitz imo is better
