Any JWT ECU timing logs out there?

Has anyone ever logged their timing with a JWT ecu modified for boost? I am curious to see what the timing curve looks like compared to stock, not the actual amount of timing being retarded but the curve itself.

I wanna know if they retarded the same amount through the entire rpm range, or if they put in a completely different curve. We have a huge dip in timing at 4K rpm which goes down to 15degrees.

I just searched this like a month ago and returned like 3 different logs from different people over the years.

So far I have found a thread you started years ago, but it shows TS logs for NA. Did you save links to those 3 logs you found?

I drove around with my car attached to a scan tool and it did some part and wot pulls and it didn't have that dip on the n/a or boosted tune. Sorry I don't have anything to upload or print as this scan tool doesn't datalog

I am thinking about getting the blast software which will allow me too thou

There is no curve with JWT turbo programs, it's a flat motherfcking line. The only JWT tunes that are worth a damn are the ones that are for their z32maf 370cc tunes, or ones where guys specifically work with JWT to datalog, provide info on what they want, rinse and repeat. Otherwise they are just cookie cutter 10deg advance tunes. Utter crap.

Quoting mardigrasmax:
Timing info on the JWT ECU with ~14psi in a 3rd gear pull

4250 8
4575 10
4963 10
5325 10
5675 10
5975 10
6263 10
6475 10
6725 10

Uhhhh could I get a little more timing please!
Why the heck are you asking about JWT timing curves anyways? Tell me you aren't considering putting a JWT in your car...

Mardigrasmax was able to get better timing out of JWT by datalogging, emailing them, pestering them, sending his ECU back and forth, telling them he would be running 100octane, etc. That basically brought his tune up to where it should have been in the first damned place.

Got the new JWT chip. Z32MAF, 740cc inj, 7500rev, 100oct race gas

Timing looks like this
rpm timing
4038 +14
4350 +14
4675 +14
5000 +14
5488 +16
5875 +18
6500 +18

~4.7-4.8 maf V ~14psi

I was running my DIY alch/water injection as a safety measure and the J&S was quiet, no detonation. I will disconnect the A/W inj tomorrow and test again. AFR was scarey at ~13:1 at times, 100oct can be run leaner, im running 93oct. Perhaps the A/W inj is screwing with the wide band OR maybe the chip needs a few hundred highway miles to trim out the fuel tables. When I did the first runs I only drove a few miles then blasted it. Worst case I can add fuel. The timing JWT is giving is consistant with good 300zxTT's tunes so I guess that will work for now. Much better than the +10 degrees it was before. I was testing this stuff in 4th (3rd is useless on streets) and it feels much smoother, if not faster too. Ive gotta test the new 7500 limit too

I'm not sure if this link will work, it's the link to my search results when I searched the terms JWT timing and username mardigrasmax - lot of threads talking about his timing saga with JWT. unfortunately some of his datalogs are broken images now, but still useful info in the threads. btw he gained it looks like 102whp from the old JWT 10deg advance to his updated 14-18deg advance tune... that's 100whp higher at less boost than his previous run.

LMAO, this is excatly what I had to do. I went back and forth with them for about 2 weeks before I even mailed the ecu, send data logs and dyno's showing how their standard tune is crap.

I basicly have Mardi's tune but for 550cc inj, 7200 rev and 2 more degree's of timing everywhere. When I send it back to have the 2step added I am also going to have them change my timing map back to stock around 2500-2800rpms and below

Hell no! lol, I just wanted to get a general idea what their timing looked like, wasnt aware how crappy their FI tune is, its kind of like they are ripping people off, no real effort into the timing.

Thanks alot for the post and info man.
