Intercooler with stillen SC?

Had a quick question. I'm new to the FI world, but know a little bout mechanics. I seen a stillen sc kit for sale by someone but with a IC. Do you even need a IC? Will the stillen SC benefit from an IC? Thx

I ran a supercharger without an intercooler with no problem. But it won't hurt to have a intercooler.

Not needed to answer your question. Just gets real expensive running custom piping especially when the charge temp is not that high to begin with a 8psi give or take.

Thx for the help. This particular kit has the piping for the IC. Just thought it was overkill to have a IC with a supercharger

When you learn the basics about boost you will realize why an IC is beneficial. Learn the basics, a good book to get is Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. Read that, google questions and will get the info you need to know.

Theres no need for welding. The ebay intercooler charge piping is fine just the way it is. Just might have to cut some of it.

Why would you have to weld it?
I agree that it would look more appealing in some areas but not needed, that's what couplers are for.
Plus if you were to weld it all up you could never remove it unless you cut it apart.

Exactly.
Most of use bought eBay piping kits and just cut it up to fit

Intercooler with Supercharger

To the SC guys running Intercoolers, Are you guys having to sacrifice your fog lights to make room for the piping? If I went with an IC I would run all 3" is this possible without loosing fog lights?
