2000 maxima turbo help ?

What's up org members , I'm new here so please don't so no need for smart comments and answers

Any ways I have a 2000 maxima in working progress , I'm new to the boosting game . I've been searching here for answers on boosting the vq30 , and what I need , what kit would fit.

What's the proper turbo can I get ?
What do I have to do with my engine
What's the safest number can I boost with the stock block

Money isn't really a problem. But I am trying to save and not spend a whole ton. Can I get some help please ?

What do I have to do with my engine? nothing
What's the safest number can I boost with the stock block? zero, anytime you mod a car crap can hit the fan but around 350hp is a good #

The only good answer here is do some reading.

If you have zero experience with forced induction, I suggest starting with a supercharger. They are easy to install and you wont run into the heat/boost control/injector/ tuning issues.

With a basic V1/2 set up, you can tune using an FMU, some relays, and aux fuel pump. Keeps things simple and cheap for noobs wanting boost.

300hp isn't an unrealistic number for you if done correctly.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of modifications do you currently have on your car? Does it run? Maintenance up to date?

The old mantra "Maintenance before Mods" may be applicable here.

Good luck.
