turbo maxima wideband placement

ok i was wanting to kno if it would be ok to put the wideband about 2ft infront of the turbo and foot and a half from the headers due to me running the down pipe out the hood. after turbo i only have like 10 inches so i didnt realy want it that close. any advice

i did notice that my afr went from 11.5 to 10.1 ish with it before turbo but i thought it was suposed to get leaner before the turbo

The fuel is still being burnt as it goes through the exhaust (unburned hydrocarbons) so it would be richer before the turbo. I personally would place it after the turbo even though there is limited space. Widebands don't don't like preturbo pressure.

I have a innovate wideband and I called them to ask what do they recommend for their product and they told me to put it in at the end of the downpipe before the cat
