Not Joking, I hit up stillen to see if they had any leftovers from the v1 v2 sc kits that have been discontinued for, since forever.

They have 3 v1 brackets left. I talked with a couple of guys there and they said that the v1 bracket is stronger than the v2 and that matty can make the kit...

Been here a long time but I don't know him

and now, pictures.

Stillen said they are very open to negotiations. They were wanting to get 400 for each, but hinted at group discounts.

You should have asked them what instigated the switch in design from V1 to V2...I have my theories.

and FTR, V1 bracket weighs 9lbs, V2 bracket weighs 4.5lbs.

There are pros and cons to each bracket.

Any chance of a quick, basic lesson on that topic for those among us who have been quietly squirreling away money to potentially boost one day?

If they had the modified thermostat housing with them they would actually be worth something.

I assume to lower production cost.

I think my V1 weighed in at 12lbs vs the V2 at 7lbs. Schmelly asked me from what I vaguely recall.

The real cost is in that modified thermostat housing. The cost for labor to weld aluminum is up there. Like someone else said, if these came with the thermostat housing they would be worth something.
