Just bought Yoko AVS ES100......

Just got a set of Yokohama AVS ES100, these tires are off the hook. I got a 225/50/16, and they grip like no ones business. No road noise compared to my old Khumos. I no logner have a steering wheel shimmy that I used to have when crusing at 80 MPH. I got these for 448 installed with lifetime balancing, and rotation. Now I'm just waiting to get my AGX shocks on, and a aligment. I have no spin now when I floor it in first gear, and get a small chirp while shifting into sencond gear. The old Khumos just sat there and spun. I haven't tested these tires with the nitrous, but I'm guess that they'll hook up easy. Hopefully with this set up, I can lower my 60ft's from 2.5 to like a 2.2 or a 2.1

Hey, I just got these tires installed today as well but I think I ended up paying more than you hehe, but anyway these tires are really awsome. I got the 225/55/16's though. They are pretty quiet and the grippage is excellent. Way better than the Toyo's I had on before. The car actually feels very firm and stuck on the ground when turning. I'm on the sprint/agx combo and these tires have made my ride a lot smoother too but I think that has more to do with the tire psi which I have yet to adjust, but the shop set them to 29/29 i believe.

I just got the 225/50/16 put on also. They replaced the 215/55/16 AVID V4's that came on the car when I bought it. So far I love them. Quiet and very grippy. They dont track as much as the Avid either. I picked 50 series over the 55 because the static radius was nearly identicle to the Avids. They are also lighter than the 55s. Whats also interesting they have exact same overall width as the 215 Avids. I was a little worried about putting the 225s on the stock rims. But the ES100 look like they were made to fit on the stock rims...no apparent sidewall buldging. Awesome.
