swaping tires?

I don't mean to be cheap but right now I just spend like about 1K in parts for my 02 maxima. I also bought this rims and don't have money to get tires soon, well not for another two months. rims are the same size as the stock "17" and was wondering if it would be ok to swap the tires on these new rims?

The original 225/50/17's will fit on rims 6-8" wide, so they are OK.

I don't see why not, unless they are "tore up from the floor up".

Should be fine unless you got some crazy 17x8.5s or something. You mentioned they are stock size so I'll just assume they are 17x7 in which case, just swap the tires over.
