Need some suggestions in the looks department.

I have been pulling my hair out for weeks now trying to find the right style wheel. (Please dont move this thrad to the wheel/tire forum, cause most people dont look there and I want some opinions) I am looking for dark colored wheel, and have photoshopped a couple of options below. Please give me your honest opinion. The hardest thing about my selection is I am trying to get a wheel that will fit Z brakes and I wont need to run spacers.

Please let me know what you think...

I don't like any of them except the first one you posted. 5 Zigen Typhoons or something.

How they look in the pic may/may not be the way it looks for your application. ie.. pic of a rwd offset version might look diff than a pic for a fwd offst version.

True, and photoshop always makes wheels look weird. Thing is I am going to have to get a rwd offset in order to clear.

At first you thought they would look good after thinking about it, they just could look BAD AZZ, nothing but compliments with them.

This girl in my office that knows nothing about cars said nice, cause nobody has them. She told me the SSR style is played out, actually see said "alot of people have those".

I dont know...I am leaning towards the typhoons big time. I can get them and either a Stillen Kit or a NOS Kit

why not a racing hart wheel like the CR-1 6-spoke wheel or the C5 evolution wheel. they're light and they look real good. around here where i live the typhoons are played out and i don't think they look good for our cars. just an opinion though, ultimately you should do what you like

also for the price of these, I can get the entire Z brake set up at the same time AND a Stillen Kit or NOS Kit.

BTW: $1250 for them new with warranty and Hankook Z rated 234/40/17, lugs, mounted and balanced, tax and everything out the door.

the typhoons are nice but the lip makes the rim look smaller than it actually is

if gunmetal comes with polished lip like the 240 pictured above, I'd go with gunmetal.

to be honest, just looking at the first picture at the top of the thread, I really didn't like them too much. but after looking at all the others, they have definitely grown on my. there was a fellow around here with a similar design on a 4th gen and it looked real nice... I'll try and find the pic.
