18x7 5Zigen ?

18x7" 5Zigen GT8 rims, white finish, 8 spoke w/ a +42 offset

I was thinking of refinishing these as Gunmetal. What do you guys think? Is 18x7 too thin for the Maxima??

personally 7 is too thin, I would only go with a 7.5 MINIMUM!

I agree, way too narrow. In fact, I would go at least 8.0, or you're limited to 225's

I have 18x7, it's thin but not bad looking. I have that size on my max: http://www.nissanx.net/gall/albun09

Yep. Got some speedo error, but i'm not complaining. The ride is still good, handling is much improved and i no longer have to deal with the Potenza's.

those things look too narrow, especially for a 5th gen.

Here is a pic of my old wheels 17x.7.5 with 235/45/17

think of it this way, the extra space is all contact patch, which = better handling.

I agree, it is narrow - but considering these factors i really can't complain much

- It still handles better than the OEM Potenza's
- The set is lighter than my OEM set-up = Peppier from a stop and on a roll
- I got the whole set for free

they are nice i was about to get those. i suggest you buy another extra rim since they no longer produce those and you do not want to be screwed if something happens to your rims. here are pics to my 19" rims
