Rota Wheels?

Are these good rims? I'm curious if they are worth the money. I've seen some for 600 shipped.

i posted a link about this before.

i think it was a wrx that had a set and he snapped all the spokes and and the rim ended going one way. this was last year i believe they may have changed there quality control around.

I have used a few of their rims and they seem to be fine for city driving. I used their SlipStreams for dragging and seemed to be ok.

When you start to abuse them, that is when they seem to show weakness.

I know many guys on the WRX board who auto-X and do SCCA and have destroyed their Rotas. Then again, I have also head guys who have been problem free.

THey are def. a good bang for the buck. I have seen these rims for as cheap as $400shipped.

You get what you pay for.

dont just think its rota wheels breaking, DTMpower guys have had an issue about their SSR competitions getting destroyed and you know that SSR isnt low quality.

So I guess its either people are putting rims that are not rated for the weight of the vehicle or people are just being overall abusive?
