Widest tires on a stock 98 SE rim?
Widest tires on a stock 98 SE rim?
What is the widest you can go on stock 98 SE rims? I'm running the Goodyear Eagle GS-A 215/55's on my stock rims and am wondering if I can go wider with maybe a lower profile? Any ideas?

Any other input from you guys? I like wide like everyone else. I'd like to go as wide a tire as possible without any rubbing, pinching, bottoming out, etc. I also don't want to modify tire arches or anything like that. I've got a 98 SE with 215/55/16's on. I definitely want to go wider when this rubber wears out.

Thanks MaxedOut. I don't mind a firm if bumpy ride too much. My current 215/55/16 set up rides very nicely. I definitely want wider rubber when these wear out, and I've always been a fan of the low profile look. Do you have any pix of your 50 profile set up to show? I'd love to see how it looks. Thanks again.
i don't have a digi cam but. . . if you want i'll snap a pic of them today with a regular camera and i'll scan it once i get it developed. . . will take a couple days though. . . today is the last day i have the 50 profile tires. . . tomorrow it's 55's. . . let me know if you want me to snap the pics...

Sorry it took me so long to reply to your last message, Maxxed. I'd love to see any pix you can produce here. Thanks buddy.
