is there an index anywhere of offsets of wheels? How can I find out the offset of my wheels? They are 18X8.5 MASITALY Presidents...they are not yet on the car....I looked at the back of the wheel briefly but didnt see anythign readily identifiable as an offset number....is it always listed somewhere on the back of the wheel?

list everything on the back of the wheel. Anything with a "35" "40" "45" or something is probably the offset. While your at it, measure the hub bore also. Should be at or bigger than 66.1mm

Are you sure they are 8.5" wide? I have seen those wheels in an 8" width, but never an 8.5". Nice wheel by the way....

i thought they were 8.5 but I could be wrong....they have 235/40ZR18 tires on them....do 235 fit 8 or 8.5?

Either. Did you buy them from an org member? If so, those were 18x8.

He got them from me

Justin,

The wheels are 18 X 8"

i am not sure about that offset, like i said, i got them used myself and there is no offset mark inside the wheel, at least nothing that i could say was the offset for sure.

they sit pretty flush against the fender:

i would guess that the offset is about 38mm? or so? but whatever it is, it's perfect for the max/i30.. i believe the previous owner before me might have had them on with a big brake kit and they cleared it. Also was on JIC coilovers sitting mighty low. I was on them lowered and unlowered, never rubbed, never had any issues at all.
