PLEASE answer ASAP

i am buying tires right now and when i say i have a max SE it says i need 205/60-15

but when i say i have a gxe it says i need size 205/65-15

i have a gxe but i put rims on it i was wondering what the diffrence was. which is better?

these are for snow tires

Well what size rims to you have now? Neither size is necessarily better. But one size will keep the speedo more accurate. I believe the 205-65-15 is the factory size. The SE versions came with 16" rims so they might take a 205-60-16 or a 215-55-16 or something similar. For the winter, I'd just go with the narrower 205-65-15 If you in fact need 15" tires.

yes they are 15 in rims isnt the difrrenct just that the 60's will look thinner and nicer?

Regardless of how they would "look" the outer diameter will be off and the speedo and odo will be incorrect.

Please just buy the correct sized tires. It's winter, who cares about impressing people? It's survival!

95 & 96 SE's came with 15" rims.

GXEs wore 205/65-15 and SEs wore 215/60-15.
