Quicky Tire Rotation

Went the other day to get the tires rotated on my wife's old Sable. The place was called Just Tires and seems to do some suspension work, but no oil changes.

When I went in, they offered a $44 lifetime tire rotation meaning they would rotate the tires for free...forever after the initial payment. Is this the norm at most tire shops? Goodyear gave me a lifetime tire rotation when I BOUGHT brand new tires...not just on a single rotation.

I'm considering taking the max in and letting them do a lifetime on it, since I pay about 5k for Nissan to do it.

I would be careful with small places offering lifetime deals. Big places offer such deals because they have so many products and services that they sell and they hope to lure you into one but whenever a small shop offers a lifetime service, it usually means they are closing soon or filed for bankrupcy and have no intent to honor the lifetime committment.

Upon a little research, I discovered that Just Tires is a new breed of Goodyear Tire Center. So, there not small...just a chain of single business units (tires only).

My local Costco will rotate and balance my tires for free as often as I want. It is a member benefit, and worth the $45 a year dues alone.

Doesn't matter where I bought the tires, or if it is a brand I got from them or not. I don't recall seeing this policy advertised anywhere in the shop, they don't promote it, but they do if for me for years no questions asked.

Could be just my local shop, tho.

I got my tires at NTB and have free rotations, so they know to expect me every 3700 miles.

Costco is rotating yours for free just for being a member? The one I used to go to always had signs up saying you could get your tires rotated for $16.99.
