Is it just me or do they increase the "4X4" look?

Yeah it seems like it. I'm not feeling it. It doesn't look as good on a 5th gen than on the 6th gen.

Maybe in chrome or dark chrome like the TE weels would look better.

They would look better with the titanium tint of the 2k3 SE TE wheels. I've seen them in chrome on a black 2004 max and they looked pretty good.

It needs a drop and some smaller tires. If those are the stock tires then they are 245/45s and I think thats a lil big for a 5th gen tire.

Ive got 350z 18's, 6 spoke also, almost the same as the maxima 18's. Theyre 8" wide instead of 7 and 30mm offset instead of 40. I have a Sunlit Sand with tint, and 235/40/18's all around. It still needs a little bit of a drop but it looks really good. I just got a digi cam for xmas but havent taken pics yet, but ill get em soon.

They dont look all that different to me than the stock 17 inch 02/03 rim on it, they are just adding uneccesary weight if you ask me.

Not feeling it. They just look a bit too bulky. If you're shopping OEM rims, I prefer the G35 18's (and am seriously considering)!:

I think this is a great option for the 5th gen. Granted it may look a bit better once the car is lowered a bit, but that's the same whether they are OEM Nissan 18" wheels or aftermarket. Its all a matter of opinion right?

we are turning more like benz and bimer owner in terms of wanting oem rims. benz= AMG bimer = bbs made. I juess it's the trend.

Not exciting at all. Not ugly, but would prefer aftermarket 18's.

Ok, I put them on yesterday on my lowered maxima. The only problem that I have is that it touches in the rear at times. I am going to the shop today to have them put the stock springs in the rear only. Pics will be available by Wednesday (weather permitting)
