im planning on getting these rims in the next few days to replace my "hubcaps". im getting 17s in gunmetal. i love the big lip it has, but am afraid the lip will get bent. it comes with wanli 1099 tires.
price for rims and tires is $949
does anyone have these?
does anyone know if they are good quality?
does anyone know anything about the tires?

 

hey soonerfan, lsu fan here... hehe ne way i dont personaly have those rims but a friend of mine does they look perty sweet on the 5th gen, tenzo to me are perty decent rims as for the tires, i dont know a thing about them....

thanks for the info. i figured they would look pretty sweet, especially in gunmetal. i figure the tires are cheap but i can use them till they wear out then get something better.

Thought you were going to get the other gunmetals from wheelmax? About six months ago I was going to get the Tenzo Mean-6 in hyper black/silver. My friend discouraged me and told me to save my money and get something else. I think you need to see pics. That's just my thought.

That deep of a lip on a 17" wheel will make them look like 15"s. I hate them.

 

Hey Jason, how'd those wanli 1099 tires turn out

 

Kumho makes some decent tires.....the ASXs have gotten good reviews.

 

I heard ASX's were pretty good also, but my 712's had really bad tread life and my 711's seem okay. BTW, i like the rims but i think the dish will make them look smaller than what they are.
