New Size Calculation

Ok, I'm going from this (stock) on a 91 Maxima: 205/65/15
And I've got 16x7 AR Tourings sitting around waiting for tires, what size tire should I get? Also, what would be a good brand for the size of tire I need?

I used the tire calculator at www.tirerack.com and it told me either 215/55/16 or 205/55/16, is there any pros/cons to these sizes...which should I go with? Should I just take the cheaper tire?

I think 225/50/16 would work and fill the 7" width of the rim better than a 215 tire.

Your signature looks familiar.... did you ask about these wheels previously? What's the offset on those?

You'll probably be okay with 225/50 like Mizeree suggested, but I just want to double check in case it's really "out there"...

EDIT: For tire model/brand choices check out Tire Rack to get some ideas. It truly depends on what you need though. Comfort? All-out performance? Wear? Do you have to deal with snow?

Well, I have posted about these rims before...but whether in this particular forum I don't remember, they are 16x7 American Racing Tourings, I'm not sure the offset, I probably knew it but forgot.
