Drag Slick guys...some questions

Hi All,
How tall/wide are your slicks? I really wanted to use mazda millenia wheels, but it seems as if they are too thin to have drag slicks mounted on them. What type of wheel are you using to mount your slicks on?

Thanks

well i sure hope they fit, because thats what i've got, are those wheels. i was just told that M&H Racemaster 6.0x26.0-15 are a good size and will work.

www.intercotire.com

of course, i actually think i am going to get drag radials first and try them out.

You're going to be kicking yourself later if you do that. In my mind DRs serve no purpose unless you have some desire to drive on them to the track, or if you are racing in a class that specifically prohibits slicks.

Anyhow to the original poster you are right there are not many sizes that are designed for a 6" wide wheel. I only know of two sizes, both are available from www.intercotire.com and one is available from www.phoenixtire.com

do you yourself have experience with both slicks and drag radials?

it seems weird that those two are the only places to get the tires.

when you say they serve no purpose, do you mean that they do not have any benefit over street tires at all?
