I have 245 rubber on 8" wide wheels with effective 30mm offset in the rear, and it's fine. Same setup 35mm offset in front, and it's also fine.

Wow, I didn't think that you could go that low, +30, on the rears without rubbing.
Got my G35 Coupe wheels on with 235/40/18 Nitto 555's. I absolutely love the way the car looks now. The 30mm offset is perfect in the front and the back. The wheels come right to the fender edge, there is no tuck. I washed the car Saturday afternoon but the pollen has killed the shine already. Once the pollen is gone I will wash and detail and take some pics.

G35 Coupe wheels. Purchased for $700 off ebay from a local guy that only put 50 miles on them. Discount Tire stripped the Michelin Pilots off of the wheels for me and I turned around and sold the tires on ebay for $550 (could have easily gotten $650). Purchased Nitto 555's 235/40/18's and had the wheels and tires mounted.
Infiniti G35 Coupe wheels
25lbs each
30mm offset
18x8
I do have dust caps installed on the rear wheels. I am going to pull those off and install the Infiniti center caps. Currently the dust cap prevents the center cap from being full installed.

From what I have heard, those are staggered wheels and they will not work on the Maxima. The rear will rub.Originally Posted by Prodigy

Hey Lumbee1-
Your Max looks great. Got my g35 wheels sitting in boxes and i need to buys tires. So what kind of suspension setup are you running?

Lumbee, I love those wheels on your Majestic Blue I just might switch my chromes for those I could probably get a good deal if I trade mines for the G35 wheels...
Aren't those the 04 Maxima SE rims. Oh wait.....Are they the same rims as the Z?
Lumbee - Your car looks amazing! I can't believe how sick they look with a mild drop on majestic blue.
I've been considering these for awhile but your drops really gives me a feel for how they'd look on my car.
So how much did the ride degrade with the move to 18's?
Oh, BTW - your ride is now on my desktop. Good work!

Ride didn't degrade at all. Road noise from the Nitto 555 is obvious now but I have already gotten use to it. Originally Posted by housecor

I have had Kumho 712's and the Nitto 555's. The Kumho were grippy and would corner on rails. The Nittos aren't as grippy and don't corner as well but are definitely more comfortable.
When I first put them on I was afraid that the G35 wheels would be incredibly heavy. After punching it a few times I quickly realized I was wrong.
These are extremely high quality wheels. Much better build than the MM Evo 5's I had.

Didn't realize you had Evo's previously - what specifically makes you feel the G35C wheels are higher quality than the Evo's?Originally Posted by Lumbee1

Also, any concerns about removing the dustcap? Aren't you risking bearing (I assume) failure?

The finish on the Evo 5 seems thin and it scratches easily. The inside lip on the Evo 5 is also very plain while the G35C wheel seems to be much more rugged with a very strong lip.Originally Posted by housecor

Removing the dustcap shouldn't cause a problem. I have dustcaps on the rear but nothing on the front. Most members have dustcaps on the front but not on the rear and other have no dustcaps at all. Once the dustcap is removed the center cap for the wheel will go on and protect all vital components.
