I'm wondering if I've got the clearence for them.
I know I'll have to lower the profile, that's not the concern I have, just weather it will rub or not!
The rims are 16"

The car is a 95GXE, but I'm assuming the bodies are identical... clearence, etc...
I bought 98SE rims a year ago, and would like to go from 215 to 235 if possible...

thanks heaps guys,
dave h.

hmm...that's a tough one man.. i've never heard of anyone doing it....give it a try....
i'm on my second set of 225's on my 98SE rims and I love it...
i think 235 might be overdoing it a bit & your cornering will not be better than what you have on 215's because even if you do fit it on there the rubber will be sliding off the rim at high speed cornering....

How well do the 225s work out??? Does it make a difference from 215??? I was thinking about switching to 225s on my SE wheels the other day, but I wasnt sure how well it'd work out.

thanks

Thanks for you post maxedoutofcash! I think you have wise words on the rubber possibly peeling... not putting correct pressure on the rim to hold on, and I do tend to corner all crazy like...

I second the question... How do you find your 225s over the 215s????!?

Thanks again,
