Im trying to find out what offset works on my o2 MAX.
I looked at the max org FAQ and it said, "35-38mm range".
However, the 18" rims im looking at are an offset of 42mm. (SSR Comps/Drag DR6)
I tried looking in the faq-u sticky, but didn't find anything. (May have missed it)

They are 18X8.5 right? You can get those rims and use 5mm spacers.

 

You might even get away without having to use spacers.

They are actually 7.5" do you know where to get them in 8.5" width?

 

Which website were you looking at?

Tirerack should have SSRs in 18X8.5.

 

Probably. I was just looking under 2002 Nissan Maxima rims. Im probably leaning towards the Drag DR6's anyways, because they are much cheaper. Is 7.5 lame?

I think 7.5 is too thin. Try 8 inch or more because the Maxima is a big sedan and should have wider wheels.

for sure 18x8.5 42mm offset will work without rubbing. I'm running that rim with 245/40/18 4th gen dropped on Progress (1.7'/1.5')....doesn't rub even making u-turns.

oh yeah does anybody know if 255/40/18 tire on 18x8.5 42mm rim will fit on a 5th gen without rubbing issues? what about 265/35/18 on that same rim? overkill?

 

You can run 255s w/out any issues. 265s you are pushin it.
