Nankang Tires???

by anychance does anyone have Nankang tires...ive had an aggressive set on my car for 1 year, and I love them. no signs of wear (i dont burn out) and they hug the road better than a lot of set ups ive driven on. the best part was that i payed 480 for all 4 wheels (235/40) brand new when i got my wheels (18s). when i go outside i will find out the model of the tire. they look real aggressive too.
but i really just wanted to know if anyone else on the org was rolling on nankangs?

Just got my 20's wrapped in nankang tires and I must say I'm really impressed with these tires. They are cheaper, quietier, and are good for 50,000 miles (which is the main reason I purschased them). They feel better then the nitto's 555 I used to have and also the falken's zx.

Great tire, good price and longevity

I had the tires before when i had my 2k1 17s, the grip is ok, (nothin compared to the kumho MX i have now) . Also the tread wear didn't seem that good cause they showed alot of wear on just 10k witch i was not happy with. But for the money I paid for them its ok.

I would by them again if i was geting them for realy cheap.

My friend had Nitto NT-450 225/45-17 on his 98 Camry. They're great tires. Then he put NanKang NS-1 on there. Max grip wasn't as good, but still pretty high. Wear was phenomenal. No abnormal sign of wear after 15k.

However, recently, he's found deep gashes on 3 of 4 tires. They're all on the left side of the tires (outside of driver side, inside of passenger side). I'm hoping it's only his run of tires that were defective. Waiting to hear about warranty work.

Bang for but ($300 installed I think) they're wonderful. Just keep an eye on them.

im on nankang. i got them by wheel and tire package deal. i though they would be crap but i was impressed. i think they are pretty good bang for the buck. they grip ok nothing to brag about and the tread ware been about lil less than 10k and looks pretty good. i wont mind buying them again if im on a budget but i will definately get something with more grip when i replace these.
