97-99 se stock rim weight

Yeah I know this is prob for the wheels and tires forum but I thought i'd ask while i am here.

Are the 2k3 17's alot heavier than my stock 97 se wheels?

with 6 extra lbs for each wheel, that is like having 240 extra lbs of passenger in your vehicle with you.
Do you know how much a 240lb guy weighs down your car? A lot. My brother weighs that much, and it feels like you cannot even pull hard.

Why 240 extra i would think that 6 pound extra for each wheel is 24 pounds or am i missing something

if each wheel weighs 6 lbs more its 6*4=24 then *7=168lbs more. That will make you .16 slower in quarter mile.

I think rotational mass only affects acceleration and deceleration, so when you're crusing at a constant speed on the highway it's not going to change your gas mileage.
