Rare JDM WORK 3-piece Wheels on Maxima (Pics)

Long story short, I waited over 8 months for these wheels from Japan. WORK Wheels Japan custom made the offset to clear my big brake kit without added spacer. Workmanship is amazing, heck, each rivet along the polished lip is etched with the manufacturer's name on it. Currently, there're less 5 sets of these rare wheels found in the entire US.

18x8.5 WORK VS-XX 3-Piece in Hyperblack/Polished lip. Forged and weigh only 18 lbs. Wrapped in Pirelli PZero M&S.

Finally got to post up a few pics of the new WORK wheels... enjoy.

- Ange

I'm jealous.. not only because of the custom 3pc. wheels, but also the Pirelli P-Zero Neros! I want them so bad but they are backordered in my size.

Ange those tires look real fat. What size are those?

Anyway, I said before and I'll say again, they look good.

How do you like the tires thus far?

My review is they're awesome in dry weather. Grip real well and are pretty quiet. I drove them tonight for the first time in hardcore rain as it was pouring and they gripped well, but they aren't that quiet. So far my only complaint.

I think the drop is perfect. 1FSTMAX's drop is too big, especially for 16" rims. It's all a matter of taste and I like Ange's.

OT, Ange do you have any photos of the 4th gen side miror covers with LED turn signals that you have on RedlineMax, actually installed on a 4th gen? I would love to see how they look on the car.

1FSTMAX's drop would be perfect with 18s or 19s IMO.

respectable wheels...like you said really hard to find and even better since they were custom made for your car. Even still I dont think I could wait 8 months for anything let alone a set of wheels.

I love Work wheels!! Must've cost a lot of scratch. Did you import them? and if you did, is it cheaper?

Nice...driving on those is probably nervewracking. Not just because of the price, but because of how difficult it would be to replace. I think I'd cry if I curbed one...

Thanks guys.. the wait was so long that I actually gave up on them and posted it up for sale last winter (before it even arrived). Now that I see them on a car... it's well worth the wait.

looslip- yes we import them

Sorry about the drop (or the lack thereof) but I sold my JIC A2s last month so I'm riding around in H&R/AGX setup until I decide on which coilovers to try next (TEIN or d2).

Masaccio- I have pics.. they're on the home pc. I'll email you some over the weekend.

thebigsadler, 1FSTMAX- The m-front bumper on my Max went to a fellow .org 4th gen member in Texas. He posted pics on his front end conversion (with 5th gen headlight) over the winter.

Nismo- Offset is 40mm... with a raised hub in the backend to clear big brakes.

Conrad283- Tires are a bit soft.. I've had other all-season tires before (Avid H4, Sumitomo HTR+) but the PZero M&S is the best by far.
