**** quick decisions ****

Which of the following would you go for?
These are from Discount Tire Direct w/ free shipping.

Falken Ziex ZE-512 $106.00
Nitto NT-450 Extreme Performance $109.00
Falken Ziex S/TZ-01 $111.00

And where is the cheapest place to get them? Discount Tire Direct?
I want a tire that will last more than 10 months like my yokohama avs100's did.

Thanks.

I'm down to the core in the middle of my yokos so I need some fast.

I got the Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires mounted on my 17" wheels a few weeks back. I dig 'em. Can't beat the rating they got last year, and the price is pretty good too.

In the 225/50/17 size, the Ziex ZE-512 have a treadwear rating of 360 (not 300 as it says on the tires.com website), so that should be pretty good.

The Ziex S/TZ-01 is a truck tire.

Peace.

Ziex 512 is great - especially in the rain, grips awesome....a little softer than the RE92's but ride is nice. Only complaint I have is that I doubt I will get more than 25K on them since I corner aggressively...I have 15K on them and will probably replace them this winter....other than that, they are great. And hey, for the price I can get 2 sets for the price of a Pilot A/S
