Skyline Rims!

I need a set of 16" rims for my car. I have 18's now but they are too expensive to maintane.. for starters, the tires are way too expensive. for an 18" tire, its atleast 160-200 bucks a tire. On top of that, I keep hitting crap and bending my rims. A friend was driving and hit the curb, so i have to pay another 150bucks to have my rim fixed. So I said fruck it, go with a 16" rim. So my question is this. Someones giving me a set of nissan skyline rims from a r33. They are 16x8 and I belive the R33 has a bolt pattern of 114, same as max, and is the same offset.. something around 35-40mm

What do you guys think? Im sure these would good to use on the track as well.. Im planning on going ot the track once in a while and my POS 18's are good for that. The skylines are AWD so do you guys think there will be any problem with these rims?

How do you guys think these will look on my 1998, drop + pebble beige?

YAY ON NAY?

I think they'll look sweet. You'll definitely be happier getting rid of those 18s. I wouldn't go anything bigger than 17. For my personal taste, 16 is perfect.

any ideas on which tires would fit?

And for the track, do they make slicks that will fit these rims? I looked at the hoosier website and all I see at this moment is everything but slicks for 16x8.. but since im a n00b in this I might be reading their chart wrong...
