Cheapest place for SSR rims and tires?

Tirerack is pricey, but at least I can get it all in one place.

Anybody have experience with another place that's just as good, but cheaper?

To be honest with you, tirerack was the cheapest place i bought my SSRs....Even with shipping it was cheaper than the other shops i called in SOCAL.....

You really can't deny, tirerack does have competitive prices. I'm not saying they are the best, but in my case, they were. So what I would do in your shoes, I would call up every tire shop in your area and see if they can beat tirerack's prices. If they can't then I guess tirerack is your only bet.

Which SSR are you planning to get btw?

Yeah, what model & size you buying? The SSR-C's are on special now and I picked mine up from TR for 20% less than last years pricing.

Couple places carry SSR. I think you're thinking of Kosei. Tirerack buys their blanks and is now drilling patterns again as needed.

http://www.gruppe-s.com/SSR/SSRWheels.htm

Try that link...trust me they will hook you up. BTW those are true JDM Speed Star Racing wheels...SSR's line up doesn't just end at the GT3. Infact that is more of a low end wheel if you could call it that.

THANK YOU~!

The other reason is that TR doesn't list all the size/offset combos, which means I'll most likely need to special order so gruppe-s will do that(not sure about TR).

^^ No problem man, I have bought from them before. Trust me they have a great turn around time and good service. When you buy wheels like that they hold their value too. I sold mine for not a penny less than what I paid a year ago.

Thanks...they don't show the ones I'm after, but I'm sure they can get them also.

More places to shop the better.

Thanks.
