18x8.5 50mm offest, will this fit?
my friend is looking at some 18x8.5 rims with a 50mm offset. he has a 2003 max se and is wondering if they will fit. with a 50mm offset fit on a 03 or will it rub?

It will fit but will probably rub especially when car is dropped. 38mm seems to be a good number.

They will not fit. I've got 18x8.5, +40 offset. There isn't an extra 10mm room available in the front between the wheel and strut.
