lightweight tires

does anyone know which tires are light, i just put on 245/40/18 nankang and they are heeaaaavy and my car is slow, thinking of maybe getting a 235/40/18, anybody maybe know a link where they show weights for tires. i looked on yahoo and could not find anything.

AFAIK Toyo Proxes T1-S is the lightest full-tread street tire you can buy.

pirelli p9000 is actually the lightest by a small margin, t1-s is the 2nd lightest and is a better performing tire... go with the t1-s

there's another thread thats only a few days old, maybe a week old, in this section that has cheap places to find toyos.
