The Azenis Sport have been around for a few years now. Hopefully this new design has improved technology.

In the autocrossing community I mean. Where the most serious are shaving & heatcycling the current RT215. And where favored teams often get first, fresher, and sometimes unique stock. We've seen spy shots of the new Hankook and Avon but keep getting spun in circles by Falken. Their reps at the Revitup were clueless and corporate has been very tight lipped.

The treadpattern's not the big story, but the compound & available sizes. Too limited sizes and the traction goes away once heat is added.

Hours later and still nobody on my other boards have picked up on this if it's indeed true. :attention

Falken FK-451 info

Ok, now I've heard everything. Back on 9/10 I hinted at how competitive even amateur autosports can be. Today the news breaks public on the other Falken tire, the FK451. Seems although nobody's been fast on these sofar, when you shave off the outer tread you find the RT215 compound hidden below. Seems at least 3 Natl autox competitors have been testing these at local events.

Today the info breaks 24hrs before Natl competition is to begin. So if you're willing to sacrifice treadlife you can now choose the RT215 in not 6 sizes, but 45
