Lightweight tires: Kumho Ecsta MX

I just order Kumho Ecsta Supra 712s for my new rims. According to Kumho's website, they're 25 pounds in 235/45R17. Seems pretty average.

However, I just checked the specs for the Ecsta MX and in the same size they're only 20 pounds! That's very significant. So if you have the money to get the MXs, seems like a great tire. Although with only a 220 treadwear rating (vs. 280 for the 712) and at their price, you'll be shelling out a lot of dough, but hey, you're paying for better acceleration and braking.

Anyone have any other suggestions for a lightweight summer tire that's not so pricey?
