96 I30 wants the biggest lip possible. Please advise.

OK, I have a 96 I30 Black on Black and have decided that I want new rims and tires. I would like to find a rim and tire package and would like to stay under $1000 complete.

What rims have the biggest lip on them that will fit my car without any problems?

Thanks.

I'd check over at wheel max they seem to have some good prices on stuff. I found these for $1100 shipped. They would look sick on your car.

These have a 4" lip...thats unreal. Not a great looking wheel but a large lip. Same price as above.

They have these in 20" on sale for $1200 w/ tires shipped which is nearly free for 20" wheel. Infact I think tires alone would cost that much.

Here are some Axis knock offs on sale for $900 shipped. They are only 18x7.5s but for that price just buy spacers or something.

There are tons more just look out for good deals. Keep in mind you want at least an 8" wide wheel with an offset in the 35-40 range. Slightly higher offset is ok because you can use spacers.

Hamy: Thanks for the info. I would like not to have to use spacers and after researching stuff today, I think I may go with 17inch rims. I don't want to have to replace the tires often or damage my rims around where I live. Our roads are not the greatest.

I will look into the rims you showed me above. Thanks again
