If you have an 04+ maxima then yes... 22" wheels are a must. But anything below an 03, 22" look dumb IMO.

its a matter of preference i think the majority of the org community is on the performance side. And sometimes the majority gangs up on someone looking for something else. If you have the money and the time then go for it and dont think twice about what these guys say.

well i'm usually on the "do what you want" side, but i'll have to go with the "wtf are you thinking" group this time. unless its 04+. the pics of the white 4th gen on 21s a while ago looked just a hair too big for my tastes, so i can imagaine 22s. and if i say its too big, then chances are its too big considering i'm the kinda guy who says 20+ on cars, 23+ on trucks.

as for what to do to make it work, i would say brand new OEM springs, take out the wheel well plastic, smallest tire available (i think the new smallest is 245/30/22), and cross your fingers.

Just go with 20's and call it a day. Besides, Your not riding in a 2004 BMW 745. It would not look right.

Could 22's even fit his 98? Rolling his fenders wouldn't be enough...maybe have to actually cut them. Even then would it work? Def couldn't lower it either, so it would loook like you had hydros, you raised up the car, and then they broke and you got stuck in the up position....

Id stick with 20"s, yes 22's look hot on the new maximas, but its really not worth it at all, just more money to spend and better chances of denting the wheels IMO

20's look great on the 04 and anything smaller just doesn't look like it's in proportion with the car. Not sure about 22's though....
