?? What should i do with crappy finish on stock rims

I bought a set of rims for winting driving, getting ready to put new tires on them and while the tires are off wanted to do something with the finish. The clear coat is peeling on two of them. Do you think it would look okay to paint them a white color? Just need some opinions. 96 GLE Stock rims

That's what I did with my old automatic:



I used Duplicolor wheel paint and clearcoat. Prepping the surface is key.

yea paint them! the duplicolor wheel paint is very easy to work with. I used it on both sets of my rims. I used 220 grit sand paper and cleaned them really well.

I wanna paint my 04 maxima rims but I dont wanna screw em up and I know that they are worth some money.
