Need help with tire balancing..!

i don't know if this is a good question or not but my question is recently i put on a set of 17' aftermarket rims and it's been giving me vibration on the steering wheel everytime i go above 60mph....now i had the tires balanced and it didn't solve the problem..i was wondering if i get a alignment would that help or fix the problem?

It should definately help the problem.. however if you have a bent control arm or tie rod, it'll keep doing the same thing.

A lot of tire places *cough* NTB *cough* don't know **** from shiola when it comes to balancing tires. Been there done that. There could also be a broken belt in the tire they dont want to admit to because that would mean they would have to reimburse you (depends on the wear of the tire) at a prorated amount. Go back to where you got it balanced, have them do it again, when they give it back to you, take it out to the highway, if there is still vibration, turn it around and go right back. Repeat until they get it right.
