Which Nittos? I've had the NT555, and they were great bang for the buck. Great in the dry, and not too bad in the rain. Although I wouldn't choose them again if buying new, because there are better tires out there (like my current ones) but they cost more...

I only have good things to say about Nittos 450 and 555. I've nailed potholes left and right and they held up just fine. Little noisy but great traction during summer.

They Trip, what tires you got on now?

if it's OEM size, it's probably the NT450. they were good for the first few thousand miles, but they lost their performance very quickly. can't remember how much i got out of them (35k maybe), but could have got much more wear out of them. my $.02, go w/ something else.

I have Nitto Neo-Gens and I'm happy with them. They hook up pretty well and they're cheap!

I have the toyo proxes t1-s 235/40/18 on my max. great tire. but pricey. even with my tire hook up. still pricey. I would suggest this tire or the yokohama parada. I think 7 or 8 issues ago in sport compact car. they did a tire write up. try searching there.
