Weight of rims!
There is probably a thread for this already but I can't search for it.
Well, I recently purchased new rims and I was wondering if my rims are too heavy. I read before that the stock rims are around 25 to 27 lbs.
Since I didn't have anything else to weigh the rims I did it on a bathroom scale. When I weighed the rim and tire...it came out to 50lbs per rims. Is that too heavy because I am going to be adding 200 lbs to my car?
thanks for you input!

You're saying that my 16 inch 5 spoke OEM rims with tire are 50 lbs each? I always thought they were lighter than that. if thats the case then I have nothing to worry about.
How heavy are 18 inch MM Evo with tire?
18 inch Evos with tires are going to be about 55 pounds, depending on the tire. 18x8 Evos weigh 26lbs. Most tires weight between 20 and 30 pounds. Tire weight matters more, BTW, because the tire is farther from the center.
