I have read good reviews on the ContiExtreme.

I bought a set to BFGoodrich Traction T/A ~2 months ago and I am happy about it so far. The snow traction is pretty good as well when I went to ski 2 weeks ago. I went with the BFGoodrich because it is available at Costco and they don't carry the Continental.

They ought to be pretty good. I ran the Continental ContiTouringContact CH95 on my Max for 36K. They are not as good as the "extreme" tire, but I was very happy with the CH95's. So I assume the extreme would be even better. I got some BFG T/A's on order to replace the CH95's simply becasue they were cheaper to buy than the extremes.
